Dr Kali Hayward

Position: Medical Educator (FRACGP)
“There’s power in role modelling. Having an Aboriginal doctor can plant the seed for young children to aspire to a career in medicine themselves.”
Kali is a descendent of the Warnman people of Western Australia.
She is a practising GP at the Aboriginal Family Clinic, Noarlunga.
Kali is a supervisor with GPEx and supports registrars to take a holistic approach to Aboriginal health, delivering culturally appropriate care that considers the individual, their family and community.
She also mentors Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students and GPEx registrars.
